I had to keep in mind that I may need to wear multiple heavy layers some days during the year and as such needed an appropriately-sized jacket that can accomodate that as well.I really like this jacket, took it for first ride yesterday, no problems while riding. Comfortable fit while standing and riding, easy to move around in. As a female, I like the multiple pockets all around the jacket...1 external hand pocket on each side, zip-out liner has 1 cell phone/ipod & pen pocket on inner left side and a zip pocket on right side. Away from the liner there's a pocket on the inner right side as well. Plus the little zippers for ventilation. The liner is quite warm and it is removable. It was 75-80 out yesterday and I was very warm with the liner in (vents were all closed). Liner zips in and out easily. Sleeves are cut... The jacket fits perfectly and has amazing padding. It is very lightweight but also keeps you very warm when it is chilly outside. Item shipped extremely fast, and the seller was extremely prompt to help answer my questions thoroughly and quickly. I would absolutely recommend both this item and this company to others. Very pleasant to do business with. If I ever need/want another jacket, I will most definitely be going to them first. :o) 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful ![]() By DingoT12 "DingoT12" (South Carolina, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Xelement Womens Black and Pink Tri-Tex Fabric Vented Motorcycle Jacket with Level-3 Advanced Armor From reading the reviews, I went back and forth on what size I should order in this riding jacket. Most people said the sizing ran small, but at least one said it was right on. Normally, I wear medium-sized clothes. I am 5' 10" and am an 8/10 or medium in most manufacturers' clothes. For example, I am a medium and 8 in Ann Taylor Loft and Land's End clothes. I have put my height and normal sizes in this review hoping that will be helpful to those reading the reviews trying to make the same decision. So a couple people's reviews made me think I should order a XL, but another made me think Medium would be the way to go. I decided to meet in the middle and ordered a Large. The jacket arrived last week and I love it. The quality is good and it looks nice on. The lining zips in and out easily and snaps near the wrists to stay in place. There are a number of vents and an inner pocket for a cell phone. However, it is too snug on me to comfortably ride.
