About 30 minutes of light rain proofing; more than that and it starts to leak through. A little breathable, but opening the front/back zippers makes a big difference. CE armor is sufficient for a low-speed crash/roll below say.. 50km/h. Unlike some more expensive jackets the armor actually stays in place over the joints as it should. Some abrasion resistance. Overall a great value for the money. I wear mine year-round for commuting on local streets. Matched with the armored pants it gives me some measure of security. On the freeway though, I wear race-weight leathers.Summary: great value and highly recommended. If it wore out I'd buy another right away. |
