I picked this one up at a local store, and based off its light weight and low cost, figured I'd found what I wanted. I was only partially right. Yes, it's light weight, but it's tough as nails. I hang it in my booth at my welding job, and the sparks don't hurt it. I've put in a few thousand miles on the bike wearing it, and it's everything I could want in a riding vest. More than enough pocket space to carry everything I want, it looks good, and I reach for it every time I'm heading out. Wish I'd stumbled across this before I'd forked over much more cash in the past for far less quality! Bottom line, this is a great quality vest at a very reasonable price. This review is from: Interstate Leather Men's Basic Vest (Medium) (Automotive) I looked at leather vests at the C & W store locally. Way to expensive like 3 times as much. It looks great and it almost feels like armor when I put it on. Damn tough. They also included extra snaps for the inevitable accident where they hang on something or give out from wear and tear. I've had expensive all weather jackets that still had to have snaps replaced but I didn't have any and had to change all of them out. The only negative I have is that I needed something between medium and small. I just lost a ton of weight and went from large/extra-large to something between medium and small. I'm not exchanging it as I am sure I will fill back out some. What I should have done was get one that was lace up or that had the strap in the back. But I am so impressed I am going to keep it. I will update this as needed. Hope this helps. I ordered a large which should have been plenty big but it was too small. I had to return it, which was no problem, and order another one. If it wasn't for that I would have given it a 5.
