I bought this jacket from leatherup after reading the numerous positive reviews on the site.
The jackets ( I bought two ) are horrible.
The zippers are the cheapest zippers I've ever seen! They not only stick and bind on the material surrounding the zipper path but they also unzip from the bottom sometimes... The few extra dollars it would have cost to use a good YKK zipper would have been money well spent.
Second is the build quality of the jackets themselves. I had every single plastic snap tear from the inner liner making it impossible to fasten the liner to the jacket.
I also think the leather feels thin... and the textile lacks the thickness found in other name brand jackets.
The leatherup site won't allow a negative review to be posted to the site so BEWARE!!!!

I would spend a few extra dollars and go with a name brand jacket....

Out of the box I was surprised with the quality of this "budget" jacket. Pretty heavy fabric and what seems to be good armor. I feel much more protected on my dual-sport in this jacket than in un-armored leather. The liner comes out and allows some good airflow, and there are several vents around the jacket for airflow as well.

Pros:
Sturdy fabric, solid-feeling but flexible armor, excellent reflective strip, warm yet breathable (worn it in sub 35 weather and into the 70s, and I plan to wear it through the summer without the lining.), zipper seems okay, I look like a superhero-wannabe.

Cons:
Had to waterproof it. The zip-to-pants feature was actually sewed on backwards (I bought the coordinating pants with this, the whole suit works very well, but again, the zipper to connect the pants to the jacket was backwards. I re-stitched it and it works nicely.) There are buckle snaps on the mid-arms which don't stay buttoned and are generally worthless. There... Read more
